About Dianna

Dianna G.
My name is Dianna Guzman, I am a fourth-generation Arizonan born in Buckeye and raised in West Phoenix, with my roots in the Maryvale area. I graduated from Trevor G. Browne and married my high school sweetheart. One of my greatest accomplishments was raising my now three grown children and watching my two grandchildren grow in the very community their parents grew up in. I have been a small business owner for 32 years and love every single thing about owning a business in Arizona. I owe a great portion of my success to my parents Abunido and Margaret Cabrera. They were traditional Hispanic parents who instilled in their children the belief that education matters, that you must work hard for what you want, and always keep the faith in our heavenly father. Without them and their example, I would not be where I am today, I am a Christian and believe that we are called to help our fellow man.

That’s why I am running for the City of Glendale Council seat in the Yucca District. In addition to running a business, I spend my time advocating for the issues and leading get-out-the-vote efforts. I believe our children are our future, and they should be given every opportunity to succeed. I plan to continue to give them a City where they feel safe and are able to accomplish anything they set their minds to. I also want Glendale to be the best City to work in and raise your family.
